September 25th, 2023 – And so, after 2 hugely successful weeks, that saw over 160 players compete across 19 events, Rathgar’s Annual Club Championships for 2023 came to a close.

Hard-fought, competitive and played in great spirit, the championships – once again sponsored by our friends in Santry Sports Clinic – represented the culmination of months of preparation led by Director of Tennis, Kieran Galvin and Club Captain Joan Ennis.

To all competitors, a huge well done. You battled weather, oppenents, tight scheduling and more and all bar, should take a bow. Lastly to all who helped out over the 2 weeks – from player checker inners, court allocators, beer pourers, score keepers, tidy uppers and more, you represent all that is great about our small club.
