Our Coaches
Coaching plays a hugely important role in the club activities with regular coaching available for Senior players and a thriving Junior coaching programme.
Kieran Galvin, Rathgar Tennis Club’s Director of Tennis, is a stallworth of our club for over 35 years and runs our Adult Tennis and Coaching programme.
From ‘play before you pay’, one-on-one sessions for those considering joining, induction programmes for new members, Rusty Rackets, Social Thursdays, League Coaching, Get Fit classes, group and private coaching and everything in between, Kieran is the man to know!
Individual coaching is also available each week, with customized coaching developed with you, for you, dependent on your level.

Following his successful tenure as Director of Tennis in several well-known Dublin clubs, Jamie was lured to Rathgar Tennis Club in 2017 where he has made his mark ever since.
Accredited to ITF/Tennis Ireland Level 4, Jamie – along with his team of 6 assistant coaches and 8 hitters – has developed a full suite of coaching options for junior members including Tiny Tots, summer camps and elite level squad training. He also offers personalized and group coaching plans.
Jamie is also the director of the Rathgar Junior Open, one of Ireland’s largest Junior events and was a founding Director of the European Collegiate Tennis Association, the governing body for European University Tennis.
