Nollaig Na Mban

On 4 January, we celebrated our lady members with a ‘Nollaig Na Mban’ event. This is the second year of this event, having been established last year by Anne Marie Ward. We hope this will become an annual event.

 

In what only can be described as Christmas Miracle, the frost had completely cleared from the courts allowing for some great progressive doubles. Following the tennis, we were treated to a Cava toast and some delicious food from Taste Catering (although this did require some ladies to be in the kitchen, maybe some of our gentleman members might oblige next year!).

 

The winners of the tennis were Anne Marie Ward and Gillian Finn (well done ladies!).

 

Great start to 2026 and hopefully the first of many get togethers. Thank you to all involved in putting this event together.
